where you’re supposed to type in one’s pw it shows the letters instead of encrypting. You might want to fix that.
Hey Karen! Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately, that’s a feature of the plugin that we use. It’s not very CIA-ready 😛 Hopefully there won’t be too many knitters stealing passwords!
Hi Davina — I just purchased this pattern and was wondering if straight needles are required? I picked up knitting about a week ago and have been using circular needles. I completed the very basic beginner scarf on these circular needles and felt just fine. Would love to hear your input. Thanks!
Hey Jean! You can use straight needles or circular needles. Both will work fine. If you knit using circular needles, after finishing each row, move the needle that holds your knitting to your left hand and with your right hand hold the other needle and knit into the stitches on the left-hand needle. Does that make sense? You can pretend that the circular plastic join doesn’t exist and just knit with the needles as if you were holding two straight needles. Hope that helps!
Makes total sense. Thanks Davina!
Is there a new website you’ve moved to? I just found this website, but noticed there aren’t any recent posts, as well as some links in the ‘shop’ lead to nothing. Have you gone to another site? I’d love to keep learning – your videos are the best I’ve found!
Hey Steph! Nope, still operating on this website! Not as many new patterns, but there will be a bit more activity on the website this year (2017), with new patterns and videos.
Phewf, awesome! Your videos have been very very helpful as I’m just learning so I’m glad I’ll be able to learn more!
I saw one of your videos that advertised selling the yarn on this site. I cannot find a place to purchase the yarn, are you mo longer selling yarn?
Sorry for the late reply. I’m no longer selling yarn on the website.
I was so excited to find your site. My nine-year-old granddaughter was interested in learning how to knit. Your step-by-step video instructions made it easy for her to learn. Thanks for helping her to become excited about a hobby that I love.
