kpc yarn giveaway

It’s August! Can you believe that? We’re almost at the end of summer. So here’s a goody for your last summer days before Fall hits with its rainy reality: win two balls of yummy and super smooth KPC Yarn Novomerino Aran in the cheery colorway, Parakeet!

Novomerino yarn is made of 100% superfine merino – and it shows! The yarn is silky and soft, and feels divine against your skin.

To enter the giveaway: leave a comment below and tell me what you’ll knit with two balls of KPC Novomerino. I’ll pick a winner at random and the winner will be emailed and announced here on Friday night.

*** ETA August 27: Oh Rene! You haven’t answered your email. So, a new random winner has been chosen. Congrats to Diana K! I’ve sent you an email about shipping details and such. Moral of the story: free yarn is awesome and check your emails!

*** ETA August 22: The winner has been chosen! Congratulations Rene! I’ll be sending an email to you shortly about your shipping details. Thanks for playing, everyone!

So start imagining what delicious creations you’ll knit up with two balls of Novomerino! (And because I like to make things easy for you, each ball has 90 yards. You’re welcome).

I’m new to knitting and want to create cute warm things for the upcoming fall/winter season! The Single-Twist headband suggested is great for the amount of time I wear my hair up in a bunch and keep my ears warm.

This beanie takes inspiration from classic watch c This beanie takes inspiration from classic watch caps. Fun fact: these hats got their name from Navy sailors who wore them while keeping watch in the night.

My take doesn’t stray far from the original caps. It’s knit in a beginner-friendly 1×1 rib and has a sleek decrease that keeps the rib pattern intact.

It can be worn cuffed for a fisherman’s look or un-cuffed for a slouchy modern feel.
