HOW DO YOU SHOOT YOUR VIDEOS?
I shoot with a mix of natural light, a medium-sized softbox and a medium-sized LED panel. I use a big reflector/diffuser to bounce or soften the light.
I used to edit my videos using iMovie, and eventually upgraded to Final Cut Pro, which I love. (Both programs only run on Mac computers).
I shoot with a Canon 70D DSLR and a 50mm prime lens for close-ups and a 18-55mm lens for wide angle shots. For extreme close-up shots, I use an extension tube to turn my 50mm lens into a macro lens.
This camera and lens set-up is responsible for about 90% of the photos and 100% of the videos you see on this site!
WHERE DO YOU LIVE?
I currently live in Hong Kong by way of Vancouver, BC.
CAN YOU WRITE OR MAKE A VIDEO ABOUT MY PRODUCT OR PROJECT?
If your project or product is closely related to knitting (for instance: yarn, knitting tools, knitting-related accessories), shoot me an email at davina[at]sheepandstitch[dot]com briefly introducing your product or project.
I cannot guarantee that I will write about your product. Considerations include whether the product is a good fit for the site’s readership, and my current schedule.
Please be aware that product reviews are always honest. This means that if the product is lacking in some way, I will point it out in the interest of the reader.
Please do not send inquiries for products unrelated to knitting or craft. For instance, it makes little sense for me to review juice blenders or linen jumpsuits on Sheep & Stitch even though I’m personally a fan of both.
For more tailored options, please visit the Advertise page.
CAN YOU GIVE ME A PATTERN(S) OR PRODUCT(S) FOR [INSERT ORGANIZATION/EVENT HERE]?
Sheep & Stitch does not gift or donate retail products to for-profit companies or events. If you are a non-profit organisation looking to use retail patterns from Sheep & Stitch or a business looking to license retail patterns for group events, please get in touch at davina[at]sheepandstitch[dot]com.
CAN YOU MAKE A TUTORIAL ABOUT [INSERT KNITTING PROJECT HERE]?
I can’t promise, but shoot me an email and let me know what kind of pattern or project you’re interested in. I’ll add it to my growing list of future projects!
CAN I [OR MY CLIENT] GUEST POST ON YOUR BLOG?
I’m not currently accepting guest posts on the blog.
I’M HAVING TROUBLE OPENING/PRINTING A PATTERN. HELP!
Please visit the Technical Support page for more help.
CAN YOU HELP ME WITH A PATTERN THAT I GOT FROM [ANOTHER BOOK/ WEBSITE/ MAGAZINE]?
Unfortunately not. Patterns that are published by Sheep & Stitch get top priority in terms of answering pattern questions.
If you’re having trouble with a pattern from another designer, it’s best to ask them directly as they’ll have the most insight into their own creation!
WHY WAS MY COMMENT REMOVED FROM SHEEP & STITCH?
Sheep & Stitch is a fun place to learn about knitting and share ideas about the craft. I love hearing from readers, but if your comment is needlessly mean, offensive or thoughtless, it will be removed.
